Job location: Gurugram Overall experience: 6 to 11 years Employment type: Full Time, Permanent Job type: fulltime Salary: 20-35 Lacs Job Description Senior Model Developer (Mlops& Databricks) Experience: 610 years (preferred) Location -Gurgaon Shift Timings-1pm-10PM Both side cab facility will be provided Role Overview We are looking for experienced Senior Model Developers with strong hands-on expertise in model operationalization, Databricks, Git, and containerized deployment environments. The role involves supporting the development, migration, implementation, and ongoing management of statistical and machine learning models, with particular emphasis on transitioning model development and operational processes to Databricks. The ideal candidate should combine strong technical implementation capabilities with a sound understanding of statistical modeling methodologies, model performance, and outputs. Key Responsibilities Support the migration and operationalization of statistical and machine learning models within Databricks environments. Develop, maintain, and manage model workflows using Python, SQL, and Databricks. Use Git for version control, code management, collaboration, and traceability of model development activities. Work with Docker and containerized environments to support consistent, reproducible model execution and deployment. Implement and maintain model operational workflows, including execution, testing, monitoring, and deployment. Collaborate with model developers and business stakeholders to translate modeling requirements into scalable technical solutions. Understand model methodologies, assumptions, inputs, outputs, and performance metrics to ensure accurate implementation. Support model testing, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and production issue resolution. Maintain technical documentation covering model implementation, versioning, operational workflows, and deployment processes. Contribute to standardizing model development and operational practices across teams. Required Technical Skills Databricks: Strong hands-on experience working with Databricks for model development, execution, workflow management, or operationalization. Git: Practical experience with repositories, branching, merging, pull requests, and collaborative version control. Docker / Containerization: Hands-on experience creating, managing, or deploying applications and model workloads in containerized environments. Python: Strong programming skills for data processing, model implementation, automation, and troubleshooting. SQL: Strong experience querying, transforming, and validating data. MLOps: Experience with model lifecycle management, deployment workflows, reproducibility, monitoring, and operational support. Modeling Knowledge: Good understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, model evaluation metrics, and interpretation of model outputs. Preferred Skills Experience with MLflow, Databricks Jobs/Workflows, or model registry capabilities. Familiarity with PySpark and distributed data processing. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated model testing or deployment. Exposure to model migration from legacy environments to cloud-based platforms. Knowledge of regression, classification, tree-based algorithms, and predictive modeling. Experience supporting marketing analytics, customer propensity, response, or risk models. Familiarity with model governance, development documentation, and regulatory expectations in banking. Candidate Profile We are particularly interested in candidates who have: Strong practical experience in Databricks, Git, and Docker rather than only theoretical familiarity. Worked on model implementation, operationalization, migration, or production support. Sufficient understanding of modeling methodologies and outputs to collaborate effectively with statistical model developers. Experience troubleshooting technical and operational challenges in model execution.
