AI Policy & Governance Specialist

Job location: Hyderabad, Pune, Bengaluru Overall experience: 4 to 8 years Employment type: Full Time, Permanent Job type: fulltime We are seeking an experienced AI Policy & Governance Specialist to help define and oversee our enterprise AI governance strategy. This role will drive responsible AI adoption by establishing governance frameworks, managing AI-related risks, and ensuring compliance with evolving global regulations and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks aligned with NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and the EU AI Act . Conduct AI risk, compliance, and governance assessments across AI/ML models, LLMs, RAG solutions, and third-party AI platforms. Define and enforce AI security, development, and deployment standards. Partner with Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Security, and Engineering teams to enable responsible AI adoption. Create reusable governance assets, compliance templates, risk matrices, and policy accelerators. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Law, Data Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in IT GRC, technology risk, cybersecurity governance, or compliance. 2+ years of experience in AI/ML governance, risk management, or regulatory compliance. Strong knowledge of NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, EU AI Act, AI risk management, and responsible AI principles. Preferred certifications: AIGP, CRISC, CISM, or ISO 42001 Lead Auditor .
