DME Specialist

**Job Description** We are seeking a knowledgeable, customer\-focused **DME Specialist** to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers with obtaining and understanding durable medical equipment, ensuring high\-quality service, accurate documentation, and compliance with insurance and regulatory standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist patients in selecting and obtaining appropriate durable medical equipment (e.g., oxygen supplies, CPAP/BiPAP, mobility aids, nebulizers, etc.) * Educate patients and caregivers on proper equipment use, care, and maintenance * Process orders, documentation, and prior authorizations with accuracy and efficiency * Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility according to payer requirements * Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and equipment setup as needed * Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure equipment is clean, safe, and ready for use * Communicate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals * Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance DME guidelines * Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service both in\-person and over the phone * Maintain detailed and accurate records in DME software systems (e.g., Brightree, NikoHealth, etc.) **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree required (required); healthcare\-related experience preferred * Previous DME, HME, respiratory, or medical office experience strongly preferred * Knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorizations, and DME billing codes a plus * Strong communication, customer service, and problem\-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment with attention to detail * Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid policies and HIPAA compliance * Basic computer proficiency; experience with EMR/DME management systems preferred Interested candidates contact @8438290250 Location \- Tidel Park Coimbatore Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent Pay: ₹18,000\.00 \- ₹30,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Provident Fund Work Location: In person Note: This is a third party job (Aggregated by careeruplift.ai).
