The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high\-performance, scalable, and reliable Java\-based applications. You will work as part of a team, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. **Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure Java applications. * Write clean, efficient, and well\-documented code following best practices. * Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. * Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues. * Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions. * Stay up\-to\-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. * Work effectively in an Agile/Scrum development environment. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * 3\+ years of professional experience in Java development. * Strong proficiency in Java 8\+ and its ecosystem. * Solid understanding of object\-oriented programming (OOP) principles. * Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA). * Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA). * Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. * Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git). * Knowledge of software development best practices, including testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD). * Excellent problem\-solving, analytical, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. **Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):** * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). * Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). * Knowledge of front\-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Angular, React). * Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). * Understanding of data structures and algorithms. * Experience with Agile development methodologies.
