We're one of the few companies where AI meets physical\-world execution at scale: predicting demand across 5,000\+ dark stores, optimizing millions of deliveries daily, and building agents that operate in real\-time with real constraints **About The Role** Forward Deployed AI Engineers embed with teams across Swiggy to solve their hardest problems using AI. You'll work in small pods, report into the Central AI team, and deploy to where the problems are: supply chain, category ops, marketplace, support, and beyond. Think of it as being the AI CTO for the domain you're embedded in. **What qualities are we looking for?** * Build AI systems to solve real problems like availability prediction, faster catalog onboarding, and self\-improving bots * Create foundational AI infrastructure: prediction agents, MCP integrations, evaluation frameworks, and reusable subagent libraries * Work closely with business teams (Instamart, Food, Dineout, Support) to identify problems and ship production\-ready solutions * Follow a rotation model (\~3 months/domain), contributing both in\-field and to the Central AI platform * Design and deploy agentic AI systems with strong focus on scalability, latency, cost, and reliability * Use AI\-native tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex) and think in terms of skills, subagents, and orchestration patterns * 1\+ years of experience (or strong proof of work) with Python/TypeScript, LLMs, and system design; experience taking systems to production * Strong communicator who can work across teams, handle ambiguity, and build impactful solutions end\-to\-end **What will you get to do here?** * Real problems at real scale: Systems that affect millions of orders, thousands of dark stores, and real P\&L * Direct access: No layers between you and the teams you're solving for.
