We are looking for **Gen AI engineers** for HCL Tech **Key skill:** Python, Fast API, Gen AI **Experience**: 7+ Years **Notice Period**: Immediate joiner Location: Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Noida, Pune **Detailed Responsibilities** - Design, implement, and maintain backend APIs and services using Python 3.12+ and FastAPI. - Develop, optimize, and operate multi-agent GenAI workflows using Google ADK 2.0 as the primary orchestration and structured-output toolkit. - Integrate, tune, and manage LLM providers and GenAI toolkits (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) to deliver safe and effective conversational AI solutions. - Support and extend workflows using other orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, PydanticAI) to ensure seamless interoperability. - Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, structured output validation, and AI guardrails for secure and reliable model behavior. - Build and integrate domain-specific task handlers for healthcare workflows, including care tasks, medication management, and scheduling, with clinical systems as required. - Leverage Azure services (Cosmos DB, App Configuration, Key Vault, Event Hubs, Application Insights) for robust data management, configuration, secrets, and telemetry. - Ensure API security and PHI (Protected Health Information) protection using JWT/OAuth and industry best practices. - Author and maintain automated tests (pytest) and support CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments for continuous integration and delivery. - Monitor and analyze ML system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Fluentd, ensuring system reliability and rapid issue resolution. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using DevOps tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible. - Participate in code reviews, architecture design, production support, incident response, and process compliance. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, prepare and present project status reports, and support feasibility studies to evaluate technical alternatives and risks. **Skill Requirements** - Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in Python and asynchronous frameworks (FastAPI preferred). - Advanced proficiency in MLOps tools including MLflow, Kubeflow Pipelines, TFX, and Metaflow. - Hands-on experience with Google ADK 2.0 for multi-agent orchestration and structured LLM outputs. - Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, PydanticAI) and ability to work across toolchains. - Demonstrated expertise in GenAI, including prompt engineering, RAG, structured output validation, and AI safety/guardrail implementation. - Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Google ADK 2.0. - Practical knowledge of Azure services (Cosmos DB, Key Vault, App Configuration) and containerized production deployments (Docker, GitHub Actions). - Advanced skills in DevOps tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, GitHub Actions. - Strong familiarity with monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Fluentd. - Proficient in version control systems: Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket. - Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, deployment strategies, event-driven architectures, and workflow engines. - Strong understanding of API security best practices, JWT/OAuth, and PHI protection. - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Proven ability to operate with high ownership in a small, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment.
