Data Analyst

**Role & responsibilities** Key Responsibilities: - Design and build robust data models using DBT to support analytics and reporting needs. - Develop and maintain efficient, scalable databases while ensuring system stability and performance. - Create and manage programmatic elements like views, functions, and stored procedures to support application logic and business rules. - Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support data integration and analytical reporting. - Define and manage database structures, including tables and metadata dictionaries, to ensure data consistency and accessibility. - Develop and automate scripts, procedures, and triggers that support application development and data workflows. - Ensure high data quality, enforce security protocols, and manage regular backup procedures. - Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks to deliver incremental improvements and adapt quickly to evolving business needs. - Translate analytical findings into clear, data-backed recommendations that influence business strategies and operational decisions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to align data initiatives with organizational goals. What Were Looking For: - Proficiency in SQL, with experience optimizing complex queries across different database platforms. - Hands-on experience with modern relational databases and familiarity with best practices in database design and maintenance. - Background in developing data solutions that are reliable, scalable, and efficient. - 1-5 years of experience in data analytics/reporting and SQL development. - Educational background in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. - Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP and BI tools like Metabase is a plus - Strong analytical mindset and a scientific approach to problem-solving. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights in a clear and impactful way to both technical and non-technical audiences Note: This is a third party job (Aggregated by careeruplift.ai).
