Funatek Systems Pvt Ltd is looking for PowerBuilder Developers across all experience levels from fresh graduates to seasoned professionals to join our application development team. You will work on building, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise business applications using PowerBuilder and SQL Server, supporting mission-critical systems for our clients. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using PowerBuilder (Classic/.NET) and SQL Server - Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers - Work with DataWindows for data presentation, validation, and manipulation - Debug and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and application defects - Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, and code reviews - Support database schema design, normalization, and performance tuning - Collaborate with QA, business analysts, and senior developers to deliver quality releases - Prepare and maintain technical documentation - (For senior candidates) Mentor junior developers, review code, and contribute to architecture decisions - **Experience required 0 - 10 Years** **Required Skills** **For 0–2 Years (Freshers/Junior):** - Basic understanding of PowerBuilder or willingness to learn (training will be provided) - Fundamental knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts - Understanding of OOP concepts - Good analytical and problem-solving skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field **For 2–5 Years (Mid-Level):** - Hands-on experience with PowerBuilder (DataWindows, Window/Menu objects, Events, User Objects) - Strong SQL Server skills — writing/optimizing queries, stored procedures, indexes - Experience with application debugging and issue resolution - Familiarity with version control (Git/PBL-based workflows) **For 5–10 Years (Senior):** - Extensive experience in PowerBuilder application architecture and legacy system modernization - Advanced SQL Server expertise — performance tuning, query optimization, database design - Experience leading small teams or modules independently - Exposure to PowerBuilder migration/upgrade projects (e.g., Classic to .NET) is a plus - Strong client communication and requirement-gathering skills **Good to Have** - Experience with Appeon PowerBuilder (2019/2022/R3) - Exposure to Web Services (SOAP/REST) integration within PowerBuilder - Git Repository for source control - Familiarity with .NET or other modern frameworks - Domain experience in HRMS or ERP systems **Qualifications** - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Note: This is a third party job (Aggregated by careeruplift.ai).
